Contacting Showtime

I must be nuts, but I decided to contact Showtime through their online e-mail question location to ask them the following questions:

1. When will the Queer As Folk DVD's be out?

2. Will they include extras such as bloopers, which were sorely missed on the Season 4 DVD's?

3. Will Showtime or Showcase be airing reruns of earlier seasons in the not too distant future?

(The last question is purely self-centered. I watched my S1 dvd's so often that disc 1, with the pilot and episode 3 doesn't always play well and I have no idea how to really repair it--other than pray and wipe it every time I put it in the player.)

I've found that if Showtime has any idea about any answer to a question that I've asked in the past, they do answer it honestly. I once asked about the continuation of "Dead Like Me" after S2 of that show and they said that at that time there was no intention of renewing for a 3rd Season. It saved me from undue anticipation.

As I'm writing this, it's like the 5th day in a row that it's been unbearably hot, it thundering outside, yet there is no precipitation to cool us off. I'm getting sick of hazy, hot & humid. I may hate snow more, but this is getting ridiculous!

I hope they have bloopers. I think I'll write and mention that, too. Thanks for mentioning it.

Unfortunately, my pessimistic self would bet money that they add the Farewell to QAF with MORE Rosie and darn, just don't have room for any of the bloopers with Randy and Gale. I hope I'm wrong.

I had 5 guests for the finale and good-bye special and when Rosie came on we all laughed and yelled "boo". What a useless waist of QAF scene time she was!

I've been wondering all that myself, I was looking around yesterday but I couldn't find a thing. Hopefully the S5 DVDs will be better than the S4 ones were - I'm hoping they put more extras into it, considering it's the last set they'll be doing.

I hope since they mentioned the quantity of bloopers during S5 in the good-bye special that they'll be kind enough to include them. *crosses fingers*

I LOVED S2 of Dead Like Me and still miss the opportunity to see it go further. Showtime threw away some real potential in that series. I did buy the dvd's--they were very cheap on line.

Aww babe I love you, I really do! I have been meaning to go to the Showtime site and do the same thing! I feel compelled to say thank you VERY MUCH CUZ now I don't have to! Provided you post the answers should you get them soon!:)
And I hope they show reruns cuz that would just be AWESOME! I would watch them as I know many others would! Hell I think people would resubscribe just to watch them!
Your disc of S1 is like mine....I watch ep 1 A LOT *cuz I just fecking LOVE IT!* and ep 3 for the part at the end!:) It won't play evry well now and I will be buying a new set cuz...well...yeah I am pathetic! Hugs, Brit

I will definitely post any answers that Showtime decides to send to me.
It's interesting to note that most people I speak to say that the first disc of S1 gets the most worn out. I'm beginning to think it's because those earliest eps. are the only ones that haven't been repeated in a few years. :/

I second the first two questions! I really did miss the bloopers on the season 4 box sets. I'm hoping/praying that there will be heaps of behind the scenes and extra footage since it is the last season.
